DALLAS, TX—The Dallas Bar Association, a 148-year-old professional, voluntary organization comprised of more than 11,000 lawyers in the DFW Metroplex, will inaugurate its 112th President in January. Leading the association in 2021 will be Aaron Z. Tobin, an accomplished trial attorney and named partner at Condon Tobin Sladek Thornton Nerenberg.
Mr. Tobin joined the Board of Directors in 2012 and was elected Chair of the Board of Directors in 2017. He has served as Chair of numerous DBA Committees. He served as Co-Chair of the 2012-2013 Campaign for Equal Access to Justice, for which a record amount of money for low-income families and individuals was raised. The Campaign funds the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program to provide free legal assistance to over 4,000 low-income families with civil legal needs each year.
Other officers serving on the Board are as follows: President-Elect—Kristina “Krisi” Kastl, of Kastl Law, P.C; First Vice President—Cheryl Camin Murray, of Katten Muchin Roseman; Second Vice President—Bill Mateja, of Sheppard Mullin; Secretary/Treasurer—Ebony Rivon, of Rivon Law Firm, PLLC; and Immediate Past President—Robert Tobey, of Johnston Tobey Baruch.
