BOSTON, MA—Morgan, Brown & Joy attorney Andrea Evans Zoia was a member of the advisory committee for the Boston Bar Association’s (BBA) annual Employment Law Conference which was held virtually on November 18, 2021. In this role, Zoia and fellow committee members developed panels and identified expert panelists. Zoia also moderated a conference panel on the interplay of employee benefits and leave programs during COVID-19. This year, the conference covered pressing issues facing both outside and in-house employment lawyers– including COVID vaccine mandates and accommodations, DEI issues and creating an inclusive workplace, various leave policies available to employees, strategies for managing a remote workforce, and more.
