Bradley Partner Buddy Cox Named Fellow of American College of Environmental Lawyers

BIRMINGHAM, AL—Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that Birmingham partner Buddy Cox has been named a fellow of the American College of Environmental Lawyers (ACOEL), a professional association of distinguished lawyers who practice in the field of environmental law.

Mr. Cox has more than 30 years of experience addressing environmental issues involving air, water, land and natural resources. He regularly represents clients before federal and state trials, appellate courts, as well as federal, state and local agencies.

Mr. Cox has defended toxic tort and property damage lawsuits ranging from individual claimants to over 20,000 plaintiffs in a toxic action. He also works on remediation projects and has provided strategic counsel on permit requirements and environmental statutes. Mr. Cox routinely works on complex issues under various environmental laws and programs, including CERCLA/Superfund, RCRA, the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, NEPA, the Oil Pollution Act, TSCA and FIFRA and state counterparts.
