Polsinelli’s Carmen Cole to Serve on Pepperdine Law School Board of Advisors

LOS ANGELES—Carmen Cole, a principal of Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli, has been invited to be a founding member of the Pepperdine Law School Board of Advisors. Joining her on the board will be the Hon. Jennifer Dorsey (U.S. District Court Judge for the District of Nevada), the Hon. Andre Birotte (U.S. District Court Judge for the Central District of CA), Texas Supreme Court Justice, Hon. Jeff Boyd, former U.S. Solicitor General, Kenneth Starr, real estate developer Rick Caruso, and several other distinguished alumni.

Prior to becoming a labor and employment attorney, Ms. Cole served as the Title IX and EEO officer at Pepperdine.

In her legal practice, Ms. Cole has successfully defended employers in litigation under state and federal anti-harassment and anti-discrimination statutes, as well as defended against common law claims for wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, worker misclassification, breach of contract, defamation, invasion of privacy, and other employment-related torts.
