CLEVELAND, OH—McCarthy, Lebit, Crystal & Liffman Principal Christian R. Patno recently completed his successful term as president of the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys (CATA). Patno was recognized for his leadership of the organization for the past year, as well as the new programs he initiated as President.
Two of Patno’s most notable accomplishments were working with Legal Aid to form Right to Counsel protection in order to help stem the tide of preventable tenant evictions. He also spearheaded a scholarship writing program for Cleveland area law school students. The scholarships will be awarded based upon a competition where law students write about a legal topic that is selected by CATA that is in keeping with the organization’s ideals and principles of right to trial by jury.
