MEMPHIS, TN—Adams and Reese is pleased to announce economic development attorney Lodie V. Biggs has joined the firm’s Economic Development practice and Memphis office as a Partner.
Biggs’ background in economic development and tax work enables him to position his clients for success in efforts to grow their businesses. He helps clients navigate tax incentive packages and favorable property tax treatment (PILOTs), as well as other economic incentives.
With more than 20 years of experience in the field, Biggs has played a key role in the incentive packages for start-ups working in areas such as medical devices, life sciences, biodiesel and bioenergy. He also represents local governments as they shape and create their own incentive packages, which gives him a unique understanding of the PILOT process and economic development opportunities for business growth.
