Each year, the Mecklenburg Bar Foundation’s McMillan Fellowship Fund promotes justice and innovation within our local legal system by awarding paid fellowships to law students interested in pursuing a career with a local nonprofit or government agency. The primary source of financial support for these fellowships is the annual McMillan Fellowship Dinner.
This year’s dinner will be on Thursday, February 27 at Bryon’s South End. This year’s dinner will feature a distinguished panel of experts discussing the topic, “A Conversation on School Integration in Mecklenburg County.” The panel members’ address will be preceded by the presentation of the 13th annual Julius L. Chambers Diversity Champion Award to the Honorable Jane V. Harper.
