Pond Lehocky and Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law will be presenting a continuing legal education course titled, “Professional Football: Player Injuries and Workers’ Compensation Issues.” The class will cover, among other things, how the workers’ compensation system deals with professional sports injuries, particularly in light of the concussion epidemic facing professional leagues.

The panelists: Pond Lehocky Managing Partner Samuel Pond, former Philadelphia Eagle Todd Herremans, and former VP of NFL Labor Relations Brook Gardiner. Andrew Brandt of the Jeffrey S. Moorad Center for Sports Law at Villanova Law will moderate the class.

The class will be followed by a cocktail reception.
