The Zero Abuse Project, a leading nonprofit dedicated to stopping childhood sexual abuse and providing assistance to survivors, will host an event with Senators Paul Boyer (Glendale) and Heather Carter (Phoenix), lead co-sponsors of the Arizona Child Protection Act (AZCPA), a historic new law to prevent childhood sexual abuse. The event will cover the changes to the statute of limitation requirements for child sexual abuse in Arizona under the recently enacted AZCPA along with a panel discussion regarding childhood sexual abuse awareness and prevention.
The event is free and open to the public; food and drinks will be served.
