Karen Hanson is a forensic accountant and the founder of Personal Wealth Forensics LTD. Hanson has more than 25 years of experience in accounting and has served as an expert witness on more than 120 cases. She has handled divorce cases, mergers, fraud, white-collar crime, and business dissolution.
Prior to founding Personal Wealth Forensics in 2012, Hanson was employed as a forensic accountant at XYZ Accounting. Since launching her own firm, she has grown her practice to include a staff of three other forensic accountants as well as a team of litigation experts.
Hanson earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Howard University. She earned her MBA with a focus on Accounting from Howard University.
