JACKSONVILLE, FL—Heather Byrer Carbone and Linda Wagner Farrell, shareholders in the Workers Compensation Department in the Jacksonville office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, will serve as presenters at upcoming industry events in Florida.
Coming this March, Ms. Farrell will be a featured speaker at the Northeast Florida Disability Management Forum, hosted by the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals. She will present “Insurance Law & Updates: Opioids…The Not So New Epidemic,” and will also serve as a panelist for a discussion on “Alternative Treatments to Opioids.”
In April, Ms. Carbone and Ms. Farrell will serve as speakers at the 2019 Florida Bar Workers’ Compensation Forum. Ms. Carbone is presenting “Average Weekly Wage and Indemnity Benefits,” and Ms. Farrell will discuss “Opioids in Workers’ Compensation.”
Ms. Carbone is the supervising attorney for Marshall Dennehey’s Workers’ Compensation Department in Florida. Ms. Farrell has more than 17 years of experience representing insurance carriers, third party administrators and self-insured employers in all aspects of workers’ compensation defense.
