LOS ANGELES, CA—JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce the addition of Hon. Mark S. Millard (Ret.) to its panel. Judge Millard brings over five decades of experience as an attorney and judge to JAMS.
During his time on the bench, Judge Millard was a member of the Orange County Superior Court Finance Committee and the co-author of the California Practice Guide: Family Law FORMS published in 2011 by the Rutter Group. He served on the Judicial Council of California’s Center for Judicial Education and Research (CJER) Family Law Education Committee and Family Law Curriculum Committee, as well as the California Judges Association’s (CJA) Family Law Committee.
Based in the Orange County Resolution Center, Judge Millard will serve as an arbitrator and mediator, specializing in handling family law disputes. He is available to conduct sessions in person (adhering to reopening guidelines) as well as virtually for attorneys and their clients across the country.
Judge Millard served as dean of the 11th Annual Institute of Trial Advocacy and has lectured and/or participated in seminars for the CJER, CJA, State Bar of California, American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), Orange County Bar Association’s (OCBA) Family Law Section and Orange County Association of Family Law Specialists.
Judge Millard received his B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California and his LL.B. from the University of Southern California School of Law.
