DALLAS—Jackson Walker is pleased to announce the election of 13 attorneys to the Firm’s partnership in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Austin. In Dallas, Edwin Buffmire was elected to partnership.
Edwin represents clients in antitrust, white collar criminal, class action, and other sensitive investigations and complex disputes. Prior to Jackson Walker, Edwin served as a judicial law clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He received his JD, cum laude, from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. He has been admitted to the Supreme Court of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth, Ninth, and Tenth Circuits, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas. Since 2017, Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers has named him a “Rising Star.” He serves on the State Bar of Texas Antitrust and Business Litigation Section Council.
