Jaffe Attorney Rubin Appointed Chair of the Bankruptcy Section of the CLLA

DETROIT, MI—Deborah Rubin, attorney at Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C., has been appointed Chair of the Bankruptcy Section of the Commercial Law League of America (“CLLA”). Jaffe CEO Jeffrey M. Weiss made the announcement.

Rubin concentrates her practice in all areas of bankruptcy law, including representation of creditors’ committees and corporate debtors in bankruptcy proceedings and commercial litigation. She also has significant experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in avoidance litigation, fraud, discharge proceedings, relief from the automatic stay, preferences, collection proceedings, and other insolvency actions.

Founded in 1895, the CLLA is North America’s oldest creditor’s rights organization, consisting of attorneys and other experts in credit and finance who play an active role in the field of commercial law, bankruptcy and insolvency.
