Briggs and Morgan has announced Julie Henson as the firm’s new director of client development and marketing. Henson joined Briggs early last year as a business development strategist and executive coach. In that role, she created and launched the Aspire program, which provides lawyers with 1:1 coaching that focuses on eight core behavioral competencies.
Henson’s new role at Briggs will take a “clients first” approach, which will impact the client development culture at Briggs. Henson and her team will focus on maximizing business development investments, internal and external communications and enhancing the client experience through developing client service standards.
Henson has more than 18 years of experience in business development and marketing. Before her time at Briggs, Julie led the planning and implementation of business development, marketing and communications strategy for several practice areas at an AM Law 100 firm. She provided personal business development coaching to more than 200 attorneys in multiple offices in the United States, Europe and Asia. Prior to joining the legal industry, Henson represented athletes at a professional sports agency, where she recruited and retained clients through business development strategies.
