Kyle Sweet Appointed to the Collaborative for Accountability and Improvement Board

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—Attorney Kyle Sweet was appointed in April 2019 to the Board of Directors of the Collaborative for Accountability and Improvement, (CAI) a program of the University of Washington College of Medicine.

CAI is committed to not only reducing incidences of patient harm but also to best deal with all those touched by these incidences. CAI’s Board of Directors is composed of thought-leaders from some of the world’s most prestigious institutions, such as Johns Hopkins, Stanford, University of Texas and large health delivery systems such as Allegheny Health Network, OregonPatient Safety Commission, industry advocacy groups, insurance claims professionals, patient family advocates and one plaintiff attorney and one defense attorney. Sweet is the only defense attorney on the Board.

Since 1997 Kyle Sweet has represented hundreds of health care professionals in medical malpractice cases in state and federal courts throughout the United States and in matters before regulatory and licensing agencies.
