    Very good article. As a medical malpractice attorney for 42 years, I have run across many doctors whose biggest problem is their bedside manner. In my speeches to medical societies and groups, I stress that the patient isn’t looking for grounds to file a malpractice lawsuit, but just wants honest reasons for why something went wrong. When a doctor hems and haws and tries to be evasive, or gives an explanation in medical gobbledygook that the patient can’t understand, the doctor sows the “seeds of suspicion” that motivate the client to seek legal counsel for a potential medical malpractice lawsuit.
