Lathrop GPM Counsel Receives National Pro Bono Award

KANSAS CITY, MO—Lathrop GPM is proud to announce that counsel Kate Nolen is a recipient of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ) 2021 Impact of the Year Award.

The Impact of the Year Award recognizes an individual, state/local court, law firm, advocacy group, or service provider who has been instrumental in championing or implementing substantial advancements or innovations which grow the mission of the NCJFCJ.

Nolen handles several of the firm’s juvenile appointments, representing both parents and children in family court. Additionally, she chairs the firm’s Pro Bono Committee, serving to organize and support the firm’s commitment to pro bono and community service. Nolen unites the passions and talents of the firm’s attorneys with the immense pro bono opportunities available within the firm’s office locations nationwide.
