SAN FRANCISCO, CA—Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, received a perfect score of 100% on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2022 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. This is the 14th consecutive year the firm has earned this recognition and joins the ranks of 840 major U.S. businesses, which also earned top marks this year.
Littler’s efforts in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria resulted in a 100% ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality. The CEI evaluates firms and companies on detailed criteria in the following categories: non-discrimination policies, equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families, supporting an inclusive culture, and corporate social responsibility.
Littler’s Pride affinity group, led by Shareholders Jeremy Hawpe (Dallas) and Lauren Schwartzreich (Denver), encourages professional growth and gives the firm’s LGBTQ+ employees and their allies a platform for networking and engaging with the LGBTQ+ community. Additionally, members of the firm hold leadership roles within Out Leadership, the LGBTQ+ Bar Association, and other organizations that focus on advancing opportunities for the LGBTQ+ community.
