LONG ISLAND, NY—Sullivan Papain Block McGrath Coffinas & Cannavo P.C. (SPBMCC) is proud to announce that partner Liza Milgrim began her term as president of the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association (LIHBA) on October 1.
Ms. Milgrim joined Sullivan Papain in 2005 and became a member of the firm in 2014. She attended St. Johns University School of Law and completed her undergraduate degree at Brandeis University. She grew up in Brooklyn, New York and is the product of NYC public schools.
She is the first Hispanic partner, speaks Spanish and takes pride in being able to communicate directly with her Spanish-speaking clients to help them navigate the legal process and address their questions and concerns. She understands the struggles of the immigrant community since her own mother immigrated from Ecuador in 1968 and she grew up translating for her mother and relatives.
