BOSTON, MA—McGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce that litigator Marisa Roman has joined its national Commercial Litigation practice group in the firm’s Boston office as an Associate.
Roman’s practice includes a wide variety of commercial litigation, ranging from commercial and contract disputes to bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, products liability, lender liability defense, intellectual property, insurance defense, construction litigation, and others. Representing clients nationwide, she routinely handles matters in federal and state court. Roman has participated in mediations and prepared cases for trial on numerous occasions.
Previously, as in-house counsel and a management consultant, Roman has managed everything from transactional and purchase and sale work, to leases, employment, and data privacy. While in law school, she completed a judicial internship in the United States Bankruptcy Court of the District of Massachusetts with Hon. Joan N. Feeney. She is licensed in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Roman holds a law degree from Boston University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from University of Virginia.
