SAN FRANCISCO, CA—Tucker Ellis LLP has named Monica Williams Monroe, Ludgy LaRochelle, and Charissa Walker as members of the 2021 class of Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD).

Ms. Monroe, a partner in the San Francisco office of Tucker Ellis, has been named to the 2021 class of Fellows, where she will participate in a landmark program to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. Fellows have distinguished themselves by being deeply engaged, indispensable to key clients and teams, invested in attorney mentoring and professional development, and on a trajectory toward leadership positions. Ms. Monroe is one of 418 new Fellows, a group of talented and diverse mid-career attorneys selected by 293 LCLD member corporations and law firms to participate in this career development program.

Mr. LaRochelle and Ms. Walker – both counsel in the firm’s Cleveland office – are among the 404 attorneys named to the 2021 class of Pathfinders, a program to train high-performing early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies, including leadership and the building of professional networks. Pathfinders are identified as diverse, emerging leaders who have, or have the potential to, distinguish themselves within their organization. The Pathfinder Program provides participants with practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks, foundational leadership skills, and an understanding of career development strategies. Further, each Pathfinder is matched with a Program Facilitator, a mentor who plays a key role in helping Pathfinders connect what they learn in the program to the organizations in which they work.
