LOS ANGELES, CA— Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones (“PSZJ”), the largest bankruptcy business restructuring boutique in the country, has opened an office in Houston with the addition of Michael Warner, a nationally recognized restructuring lawyer and one of the most well-respected bankruptcy lawyers in the Lone Star State. Joining Mr. Warner will be Benjamin L. Wallen, Ayala A. Hassell, Kerri L. LaBrada and Denise Mendoza. The group, which has been together for many years, has served as co-counsel with PSZJ on several matters, including recently in connection with representation of the creditors’ committee in the high profile restructuring of department store behemoth Neiman Marcus.
Warner’s practice includes representation of debtors, creditors’ committees, liquidating trustees and private equity funds in both in-court and out-of-court restructurings in the financial services, food, oil and gas, real estate, retail, and steel industries. In addition to Neiman Marcus, Warner has been involved in some of the most significant chapter 11 cases filed in Texas.
