CLEVELAND, OH—Frantz Ward is pleased to announce that Labor and Employment Partner Christina E. Niro has been named to the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Leadership Academy Class of 2021. The program will begin on September 24.
The Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Leadership Academy is a 10-month, selective and highly-regarded program. Leadership Academy candidates have a demonstrated passion for the profession and civic engagement, a genuine commitment to expanding leadership development and an excitement for building relationships with a broad cross-section of lawyers and leaders in greater Cleveland.
Niro advises and represents employers in a broad range of employment law matters, from discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and harassment, to cases involving contract disputes, restrictive covenants, trade secret theft and misappropriation, and unfair competition. She has litigated and tried cases in state and federal courts and frequently represents employers in various state and federal administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, and the Department of Labor. Niro also conducts in-house training on a variety of employment law topics to help employers understand, prevent and correct discrimination in the workplace.
