Peckar & Abramson Promotes Four Attorneys in Dallas and Houston

TEXAS—National construction law firm Peckar & Abramson, P.C. (P&A) is pleased to announce promotions for four of its construction law attorneys in Dallas and Houston. Angela A.L. Connor has been promoted to Senior Counsel from Senior Associate. Cornelius ‘Lee’ Banta, Jr., Crystal T. Dang and Ian Fullington have been promoted to Senior Associate from Associate.

Houston attorney Angela A.L. Connor is dedicated to construction litigation, dispute resolution and contract negotiation. She represents a wide range of construction industry clients and regularly handles complex construction-related matters involving mechanic’s liens, payment bonds, contract disputes, collections, delay claims and construction defects. She is also engaged in drafting and reviewing of contract documents and regularly performs contract risk assessment and risk management for a range of construction projects. Connor received her J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston and her BBA from Texas A&M University.

Houston attorney Cornelius “Lee” Banta, Jr. represents general contractors and construction managers and his experience with lien and bond claim disputes, construction defect litigation and general commercial matters. He has represented owners, contractors, subcontractors, and materialmen at all stages in the litigation process, and has obtained favorable judgments for his clients. Banta earned his J.D. from The University of Houston Law Center and his B.A. from Amherst College.

Houston attorney Crystal T. Dang is a Construction and Commercial attorney experienced in all aspects of litigation. She has first-chair jury trial experience and works closely with clients from the start to the completion of their case, including handling pre-suit investigations, pre-trial hearings, and dispute resolution. In addition, Dang has experience in construction, infrastructure, and energy projects. She is fluent in both English and Vietnamese. Dang earned her J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston and her B.A. from Houston Baptist University.

Dallas attorney Ian Fullington focuses his practice on construction litigation, commercial dispute resolution and construction defect litigation. He has significant experience with Texas lien and bond claims. He is actively involved with the Young Constructors Council of TEXO, the largest commercial contractor’s association in Texas, representing the North and East Texas chapters of both the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) and Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). Ian also serves as Chair of the Dallas Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Texas Construction Law Section. He received his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and his BBA from the University of Oklahoma.
