ORLANDO, FL—Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, a leading civil defense litigation law firm with four offices in Florida, has added Peggy Smith Bush as Special Counsel in the firm’s Orlando office. The seasoned litigator joins the firm’s Casualty Department defending general casualty, premises liability and product liability claims in a wide range of industries including hotel and resort, food retail, and hospitality, as well as handling a variety of motor vehicle accident litigation.
Mrs. Bush has nearly two decades of experience defending companies, primary and excess insurance carriers, large self-insureds, and public entities against claims of premises liability, product liability, and general casualty. While much of her background includes general personal injury and products liability defense, she has become a thought leader in the transportation law industry serving as a frequent speaker at seminars across the country.
Active in many professional and community service organizations, Mrs. Bush is an active member of The Florida Bar’s Mental Health & Wellness of Florida Lawyers Committee and serves as the Awards Chair of the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers. Additional organizations in which she is involved include the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), Transportation Lawyers Association, Public Risk Management Association (PRIMA), the George C. Young American Inn of Court – Master level, and the Orange County Bar Association’s Mentorship Program.
