WASHINGTON, D.C.—Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Alec Farr has joined the firm’s Litigation practice as a partner in the Washington, D.C. office. A veteran litigator, Farr focuses his practice on complex commercial and intellectual property matters.

Farr has significant experience advising clients on business and banking issues, including litigation related to breach of contract, fraud, consumer class actions, RICO, corporate disparagement, lender liability, negligence, and unfair competition. He also regularly advises financial institutions on litigation involving inadequate loan origination disclosures, improper account management procedures and violations of the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), and state consumer protection statutes. His intellectual property practice focuses on non-compete, trade secret, copyright and trademark infringement matters.
