CHICAGO, IL—Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Arthur Rooney has joined the firm’s Labor & Employment practice as a partner in the Chicago office.
With nearly 20 years of experience in employment law, Arthur’s practice focuses on the defense of employers in state and federal single-plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, and class action cases involving wage-and-hour lawsuits; FLSA collective actions; discrimination, harassment, and retaliation issues; and restrictive covenant matters. He also advises employers on preventative measures including reviewing employment policies, handling disciplinary actions and investigations, negotiating severance and release agreements, and conducting employment practices review.
