PHILADELPHIA, PA—Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano will be hosting a reception for Pros4 Heroes, an alliance uniting professional athletes and top industry professionals to combat the opioid epidemic effecting veterans, first responders, union members and communities in need.
Pros4Heroes is an initiative of the Injured Workers Advocacy Program. Former Philadelphia Eagle Todd Herremans and former Philadelphia Flyer Riley Cote helped form the alliance and are co-hosting the reception. Pros4Heroes is designed to use the influence and platform of professional sports to prevent opioid addiction by hosting community events, promoting education and providing resources to those suffering the effects of acute and chronic pain.
The reception will take place Veterans Day, Nov. 11, from 6-8:00 p.m. at Pond Lehocky’s Center City Headquarters, 2005 Market St., 18th Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19103. All proceeds will benefit the Injured Workers Advocacy Program’s Anti-Addiction/Anti-Opioid Initiative.
