BOSTON, MA—Boston law firm Sherin and Lodgen LLP is pleased to announce that David A. Michel has been elevated to partner. Michel is a member of the firm’s award-winning Litigation Department, assisting clients in resolving complex business, real estate, construction, and employment disputes.
Michel’s experience includes representing companies in a variety of complex civil and commercial disputes in federal and state court and through alternative dispute resolution. In particular, he represents companies, developers, and landlords involved in real estate and construction disputes, including adverse possession, construction and design contracts, and zoning. He also represents and advises companies, non-profits, and individuals in employment matters, such as restrictive covenant and wage and hour litigation. Michel is an active member of the legal community, and is currently serving as the 1st Circuit Representative of the Federal Bar Association’s Younger Lawyers Division Board of Directors for the 2020-2022 term. He has also been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star since 2018.
Michel received his B.A. from The George Washington University and J.D. from Boston University School of Law. During law school, he served as submissions editor for the Boston University Public Interest Law Journal and achieved honors in the Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Concentration.
