BIRMINGHAM, AL—Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that Brendan Smith has joined the firm’s Birmingham office as an associate.
Mr. Smith is a member of Bradley’s Litigation Practice Group and assists business and commercial clients in litigation matters across a variety of industries.
He received his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law and his B.A. from Colorado College. While attending law school, Mr. Smith served as a judicial extern for Justice Dana Oxley of the Iowa Supreme Court.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Smith worked on the contracting team at Optum and DaVita Medical Group, supporting multimillion-dollar contract negotiations with major health insurance companies and providers. He served as the lead project manager during DaVita’s acquisition, ensuring that contracts accurately updated throughout the process.
