MONTGOMERY, AL—Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that Charles “Chuck” Stewart, a partner in the firm’s Montgomery office, has been named president-elect of the Alabama Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Mr. Stewart will serve in that role until November 2023 when he will become president of ABOTA’s Alabama Chapter for a one-year term during 2024.
Mr. Stewart is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an Advocate in ABOTA, and he was the first attorney under the age of 40 to be elected president of the Alabama Defense Lawyer’s Association. He also is active in practice-related organizations, including the International Association of Defense Counsel, the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel, and DRI, where he served on DRI’s board of directors and later as chair of DRI’s Product Liability Committee.
