We at Attorney at Law Magazine were saddened to learn of the passing of Grant Woods. A prominent figure in the Phoenix legal community, he will be long remembered and missed.
Woods died of a heart attack Saturday, October 23, at the age of 67. A private attorney and politician, he served as the state’s attorney general from 1991 until 1999.
“We were beyond honored to feature Mr. Woods on the cover of one of our first issues,” recalls CEO and executive publisher Ken Minniti. “He was funny, kind and had an incredible legal mind.
“The legal community is reeling with the news of his sudden loss and we join them in his mourning,” he adds.
