LOS ANGELES, CA—Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP announced today the election of five new partners, effective Jan. 1, 2023. The diverse group of lawyers spans several practice areas and offices.

Theresa B. Bowman (Washington, D.C.) practices in both the litigation and intellectual property groups. Bowman has experience navigating all aspects of complex litigation against both foreign sovereign and private multi-national entities in a wide variety of subject areas. Her practice focuses upon representation of clients in their efforts to enforce intellectual property rights worldwide. She received her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and her B.S. from Northwestern University.

Anna Czege (Los Angeles) is being promoted to partner from her role as special counsel in the firm’s corporate & business transactions group. Czege has 22 years of experience practicing general corporate law and advises public and private companies on mergers & acquisitions, securities law, and corporate governance. She received her J.D. from Columbia Law School and her B.S. from the University of Maryland.

Mark C. Humphrey (Los Angeles) is a member of the firm’s litigation group. Humphrey’s practice is focused on commercial litigation with an emphasis on contractual and commercial disputes, video games, entertainment and intellectual property. He received his J.D. from Southwestern Law School and his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Gabriella Nourafchan Ismaj (Los Angeles) is a member of the firm’s entertainment & intellectual property litigation group. Ismaj represents leading businesses and individuals in the music, film, fashion, hospitality and television industries, as well as emerging and established technology businesses. She also has significant experience litigating in both state and federal courts across the country, with a concentration on copyright, trademark, defamation, contract and other commercial disputes. Ismaj received her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles and her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Marissa B. Lewis (New York) practices in the intellectual property litigation and trademark prosecution groups. Lewis represents clients in various industries in connection with intellectual property disputes, with a focus on trademark, unfair competition, copyright, and right of publicity matters. She also specializes in trademark clearance and prosecution, and has extensive experience litigating before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She received her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Maryland.
