SILICON VALLEY, CA—Gunderson Dettmer announced that Heidi Walas has joined the firm’s leading emerging companies practice, resident in the Silicon Valley office.
Walas represents emerging growth companies and early-stage investors, focusing on venture financings, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, technology transfers and general business matters. She joins the firm from Silicon Legal Strategy where she was a partner.
Walas regularly acts as outside general counsel for Northern California-based startups, providing legal, business and strategic advice throughout their lifecycle. She also represents venture capital funds in connection with their investments.
