CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA—The International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) has announced that Tamara Prince, a partner at Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, has accepted an invitation to join the IADC, the preeminent invitation-only global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests.
As General Counsel and Chief EDI Officer at Cassels, Ms. Prince is responsible for the firm’s risk management, and inclusion and diversity strategy. She focuses her litigation practice on complex corporate/commercial matters, including those involving energy and environmental law, construction, commercial leasing, class action defense, competition, pensions, tax, securities, employment defense, and franchise disputes. She has represented corporate clients in the global energy sector, as well as the petrochemicals, commercial property, telecommunications, mining, global transportation, manufacturing, franchising and construction industries.
Ms. Prince is a board member with the Advocates’ Society and currently serves as vice president of the board of the Association of Women Lawyers.
Ms. Prince received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Regina.
