HARTFORD, CT—Gwaina Wauldon has joined Carlton Fields as senior counsel in the firm’s Labor and Employment and Education practices in Hartford.
Wauldon focuses her practice on education, labor, and employment law, with significant experience in Title IX and compliance with state and federal anti-discrimination and anti-harassment laws. She is a thought leader on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and has represented companies, colleges, universities, and schools in a variety of employment, labor, education, and special education matters, including special education due process hearings, government investigations, student discipline, residency, and school accommodations proceedings.
She advises clients on education-related policies and procedures and conducts internal investigations into allegations of discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, and other misconduct, as well as claims involving alleged violations of Title IX.
