Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Miami attorney Justin S. Wales was promoted to senior counsel.
Wales serves as chair of Carlton Fields’ Blockchain and Digital Currency task force. He advises blockchain, financial technology, and financial services clients on fundraising and regulatory matters. He also provides business and product counseling for these clients, as well as advice regarding corporate formation, intellectual property, and other general corporate matters.
Wales is also an experienced litigator who assists clients with constitutional and intellectual property disputes, including First Amendment, trade secret, and access to government-held information claims.
Justine S. Wales joined Carlton Fields as an associate in 2013. He graduated from the University of Miami School of Law, summa cum laude, Order of the Coif, after earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego, magna cum laude.
