MIAMI-FL—Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, today announced that Alfredo L. Gonzalez has joined the firm’s real estate law practice as a shareholder in its Miami office.
Gonzalez has over 40 years of experience working as an attorney in many areas of law, primarily real estate, and also environmental, land use, international transactions, healthcare, governmental and aviation law. His extensive background has allowed him to take on a diverse scope of clientele, from governmental agencies – including the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Federal Trade Commission and Florida Housing Finance Authority – to real estate investors, developers, healthcare providers, mortgage companies, airlines, banks and more.
Gonzalez’s work spans all areas of real estate practice, including the completion of major commercial and residential transactions, lease negotiations, condominium document preparation and more. He has also successfully handled large-scale contract negotiations for government agencies and entities, as well as public contracts that involve the Port of Miami, aviation, water and sewer infrastructure, healthcare, waste disposal, environmental work, transportation, construction and energy performance.
Gonzalez earned his J.D. from the University of Florida and a B.A. from the University of Miami.
