PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL—On April 28, 2023, John Fumero and Susan Martin provided a presentation to 53 elected officials representing local governments and members of the Treasure Coast League of Cities (TCRLC). The 4-hour presentation revolved around the statutorily required annual continuing education requirements for elected officials regarding Florida’s public records law, open meetings law and ethics law.
TCRLC’s mission is to promote communication, collaboration and education among the 14 municipalities of Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie Counties; encourage effective advocacy for home rule to all levels of government; foster excellence in local self-governance and represent the Treasure Coast with the Florida League of Cities.
