Six Attorneys from Shapiro, Blasi, Wasserman & Hermann Included in South Florida Legal Guide’s 2021 Top Lawyers

SOUTH FLORIDA — Shapiro, Blasi, Wasserman & Hermann is proud to announce that six of its lawyers were named to South Florida Legal Guide’s 2021 “Top Lawyers” list.

The South Florida Legal Guide based the list entirely on peer nominations, asking lawyers and individuals across South Florida to nominate those who they believed to be worthy of the honor.

The following lawyers have been recognized:

Andrew B. Blasi, a founding shareholder of the firm, has more than 35 years of experience working in South Florida. He focuses his practice on business transactions and contracts, commercial and residential real estate and finance, as well as real estate development, mortgage and asset-based lending, business workouts and dispute resolution.

Adam S. Chotiner, shareholder, oversees the firm’s Labor and Employment Law practice. He is Board Certified by The Florida Bar as an expert specialist in labor and employment law, and he focuses his practice on representing businesses in all aspects of labor and employment law. Mr. Chotiner has been on the South Florida Legal Guide’s “Top Lawyers” list since 2015 and he was previously listed as a “Top Up and Comer.”

Richard P. Hermann, shareholder, focuses on healthcare litigation on behalf of major commercial payers and defending manufacturers of vertical transportation equipment in a variety of commercial and products liability disputes. He also provides counsel on general liability, employment and construction issues for several significant vertical transportation manufacturers and maintenance companies.

Michael D. Mopsick, of counsel, represents clients in trust, probate, and guardianship disputes, as well as in business and commercial litigation. He is also a Certified Circuit Civil Mediator. Mr. Mopsick has been recognized by the South Florida Legal Guide as a “Top Lawyer” since 2007.

Robert E. Sacks, shareholder, focuses on helping international manufacturers and vertical transportation service companies with litigation involving general liability, products liability, commercial matters, construction defect, delay, and lien claims.

Jeffrey P. Wasserman, of counsel, possesses more than four decades of experience in family law matters, including divorce litigation, pre and post nuptial agreements, post judgment enforcement and modifications, paternity suits and custody matters. He has been recognized by the South Florida Legal Guide as a “Top Lawyer” for many years.
