BATON ROUGE, LA—McGlinchey is pleased to announce that Alfred Carry and Stephanie Hand-Cannane have been selected to participate in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD)’s programs for diverse, high-potential attorneys. Alfred will participate in LCLD’s Fellows Program, which offers personal and professional development, leadership training, and relationship-building opportunities for mid-career attorneys. Stephanie will participate in the LCLD Pathfinder Program, which offers resources to early-career attorneys for developing foundational leadership skills.
Carry is Of Counsel in McGlinchey’s Washington, D.C. office, defending individual and institutional clients in high-stakes litigation and investigations. He was named to Best Lawyers’ “Ones to Watch” list in 2021 and was recognized as a “Rising Star” by Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers in 2020-2021. He is involved with various bar and industry associations, including the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, and Rising for Justice. A McGlinchey attorney has participated in the LCLD Fellows program every year since 2010.
Hand-Cannane is an Associate in McGlinchey’s Cleveland office, representing a wide range of financial institutions in a variety of litigated matters. She defends lending and servicing clients against alleged violations of a number of regulatory statutes. She was named to Best Lawyers’ “Ones to Watch” list in 2021 and recognized as a “Rising Star” by Ohio Super Lawyers in 2021-2022. She is involved with a number of legal associations, such as the Ohio State Bar Association, and Ohio Women’s Bar Association. McGlinchey has sponsored an attorney in LCLD’s Pathfinder program since 2019.
