COLORADO SPRINGS,CO— Already a leader in local criminal defense and DUI law, Maher and Maher Law is expanding their practice by adding local attorney and Colorado Springs native Kris Miller to oversee and expand their personal injury practice. Miller received his undergraduate degree from the University of Lynchburg in 2004 and his law degree from McGeorge School of Law.
Before joining Maher & Maher, Kris served as a deputy district attorney for Colorado’s 4th and 21st judicial districts. As a public servant, he gained experience as a trial attorney, liaison and supervisor in Mesa, El Paso and Teller counties. He completed jury trials and worked with public defenders and judges on developing new court procedures and policies. Over the course of his career, Mr. Miller has executed more than one hundred jury and bench trials.
After leaving his role as a public servant, Kris practiced as a solo attorney in areas including criminal defense, family and personal injury law. He also worked in an advanced role for a large personal injury firm, as a supervising trial attorney. Opting to localize and focus his practice, Kris is furthering his career by joining Maher & Maher.
