WINSTON-SALEM, NC—Michael Best is pleased to announce that Christopher D. Seamster has joined the firm’s corporate practice group as a partner in the Winston-Salem office.
Seamster focuses his practice on corporate/business law, ranging from general outside corporate counsel representation to sophisticated corporate transactions. He regularly advises clients on mergers and acquisition transactions, corporate buyouts, restructuring, day-to-day corporate issues including general contract review, corporate and LLC structuring, employment agreements, vendor contracts and corporate governance matters.
In addition to his corporate practice, Seamster also has a proven background in the renewable energy space. At his previous firm, he assisted solar renewable energy clients with corporate structuring and tax equity investments for solar farm development projects. He also has experience advising his clients with trademark, copyright and other intellectual property related matters that include filing, monitoring, and maintaining applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
