PHILADELPHIA, PA—McCarter & English, LLP has named Philip D. Amoa the Managing Partner of the firm’s Philadelphia, PA, office. In addition to maintaining his current practice, Amoa will oversee operations and the business of running the office.
Amoa handles M&A, venture capital, private equity, Delaware corporate and alternative entity law, and commercial matters for multinational and middle-market companies, including their boards of directors, management, and the investors that govern, operate, and transact with them. He is a founding member and leader of the firm’s Delaware Corporate, LLC & Partnership Law Group, and clients benefit from a combination of his knowledge in this area, his service on the board of an institutional investor, and his prior experience running his own technology-based company.
