S.H.E. Summit Dallas is proud to partner with Genesis Women’s Shelter to support their mission of providing safety, shelter and support for women who have experienced domestic violence, and to raise awareness regarding its cause, prevalence and impact.
S.H.E. Summit Dallas is a full day program that will be hosted at the Omni Dallas Aug. 16, aimed at celebrating and cultivating female and male leaders. Keynote speeches and panel discussions will focus on today’s most relevant women and societal issues and strategies to accelerate the global advancement of women and gender equality.
Attendees of S.H.E. Summit Dallas, are invited to bring gift cards to donate to Genesis Women’s Shelter on Aug. 16. Gift cards in any increment are so valuable because they provide women who have experienced domestic violence with the power to choose how to use your gift. Whether they are used on groceries, a new work uniform, gas to make it to court or a child’s prescription, gift cards provide options during a time when all choices have typically been stripped away.
Common gift cards include:
- Target or Walmart
- Grocery stores
- Fast-food or chain restaurants (Subway, Taco Bell, Chili’s, etc.)
Any amount goes a long way in restoring dignity, confidence and self-esteem. Common increments include $10, $20 or $50.
Genesis will have a booth at S.H.E. Summit Dallas with representatives who can collect your gift cards and share how Genesis is making a difference in the lives of women. Every attendee who makes a donation will be provided with a Genesis canvas tote bag to proudly show you are supporting and empowering women and children who have experienced abuse. We look forward to seeing you at S.H.E. Summit and working together to make a difference!
S.H.E. Summit is open to professional men and women. The cost for admission is $225 per ticket. Group discounts, student and government discounts are also available.
The inaugural Dallas event will be hosted by Munck Wilson Mandala in collaboration with S.H.E. Summit and Bacardi’s Women In Leadership Initiative.
