WILMINGTON, DE—Barnes & Thornburg has added Wali W. Rushdan II as a partner in the firm’s Wilmington office. Rushdan joins the firm’s Real Estate Department, where he focuses his practice on real estate transactional and litigation matters, land use, and construction matters.
An experienced trial lawyer, Rushdan has represented Fortune 500 companies, government entities and small businesses in a wide range of real estate litigation matters, which include condemnation and eminent domain litigation, construction defect disputes, complex landlord-tenant disputes, quiet title actions, real property partition actions, specific performance actions, and real property foreclosures and sheriff’s sales.
Rushdan believes in giving back and continues his mentorship work and other civic involvement in the areas of public education, health equity and affordable housing.
