DALLAS, TX—Parker D. Collins has joined international law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP as a Dallas-based associate in the Firm’s Corporate Department.
Parker’s practice focuses on the representation of public and private companies, private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Prior to joining Weil, Parker served as an associate at another global law firm in its M&A/Private Equity practice, where he represented various private equity firms, portfolio companies and special purpose acquisition companies in private equity or strategic M&A transactions and investments across an array of industries, including energy, infrastructure, consumer and retail.
During law school, Parker served as a law clerk for the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary in Washington, D.C.
Parker earned his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School and previously completed his B.A. at Southern Methodist University (SMU). He also walked on to SMU’s NCAA Division 1 Football team during his time at SMU.
