AUSTIN and SAN ANTONIO, TX—Texas-based Jackson Walker recently added three new senior counsel, with two joining the Real Estate practice and one joining the Corporate & Securities group.
In November, Carolyn S. Mulvey joined the firm’s Corporate & Securities practice in San Antonio. In late October, two lawyers joined the Real Estate practice: Henry Gilmore brought 35 years of expertise in municipal land use law to the firm’s Austin office, and Justin Meyer brought his experience on a wide range of real estate transactions to the San Antonio office.
Ms. Mulvey represents companies in mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and corporate restructuring transactions. She has extensive experience advising private companies and family offices in a broad array of transactional matters.
Ms. Mulvey previously served as assistant general counsel for a private investment company operating in the private equity, oil and gas, and real estate markets.
Over the years, Henry Gilmore has represented the owners and developers of residential, commercial, industrial, and master-planned properties. He also assists real estate purchasers and investors with land use due diligence reviews. He has earned recognition as a top-rated lawyer in Land Use and Zoning by American Lawyer Media and Martindale Hubbell. He previously practiced with an Austin law firm.
Justin Meyer is licensed to practice law in Texas, Utah, and Missouri. He focuses on a diverse range of transactions and regularly represents purchasers, sellers, lenders, borrowers, landlords, developers, and tenants.
Before joining Jackson Walker, he served as in-house counsel to Reinsurance Group of America Inc. and a real estate boutique firm.
