WASHINGTON, D.C.—The International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) has announced that Sean C. Griffin, a Member at Dykema Gossett PLLC in Washington, D.C., has accepted an invitation to join the IADC, the preeminent invitation-only global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests.
A former Department of Justice trial attorney, Mr. Griffin represents government contractors, law firms, construction companies, and other businesses in complicated contract litigation, much of which involves allegations of fraud. As an IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), he also helps clients establish and maintain data security, respond to data breaches, and litigate cybersecurity and privacy cases.
Mr Griffin also serves as senior director of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC) and is the former chair of the FDCC’s Data Security, Privacy, and Cyber Insurance Section.
Mr. Griffin received his J.D. from Columbia Law School and his Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College.
